Alpha Technology

Virtually anything can be measured with Alpha Technology quickly and easily, including enzymes, receptor-ligand interactions, low-affinity interactions, second messenger levels, DNA, RNA, proteins, protein post-translational modifications, protein:protein interactions, peptides, sugars and small molecules.

LANCE Ultra TR-FRET

LANCE and LANCE (LANthanide Chelate Excitation) Ultra are our TR-FRET (time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer), homogeneous (no wash) technologies. One binding partner of interest is labeled with a donor fluorophore (a LANCE Europium chelate) and a second one is labeled with an acceptor fluorophore (ULight™ dye). Upon excitation at 320-340 nm, energy can be transferred from the donor Europium chelate to the acceptor fluorophore if sufficiently close for FRET (~10 nm). This results in the emission of light detectable at 665 nm.

DELFIA (Dissociation-Enhanced Lanthanide Fluorescence Immunoassay) is a proven, robust immunodetection platform based on time-resolved fluorescence (TRF) detection. This detection method, coupled with the unique chemical properties of lanthanide chelates, makes DELFIA a superior alternative to conventional ELISA for research, drug discovery, and clinical applications.

DELFIA offers a combination of high sensitivity, wide dynamic range and long-lasting stability that traditional ELISA cannot match.

Phospho-CREB (Ser133) Terbium SureFire Ultra Detection Kit

The Alpha SureFire® Ultra™ Multiplex kits allow the rapid, sensitive, and quantitative detection of two phosphoprotein targets in each well of an assay plate. This kit can be used in combination with any AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra assay to detect phospho-CREB (Ser133) in a multiplexed assay.

IgG4 (human) isotyping AlphaLISA Detection Kit

The AlphaLISA Human IgG4 Detection Kit is designed for detection, quantitation, and isotyping of human IgG4 in cell culture medium and non-human serum, using a homogeneous (no wash steps, no separation steps) assay. The assay shows negligible cross-reactivity with other human IgG isotypes and monkey IgG.

IL-13 (porcine) AlphaLISA Detection Kit

The AlphaLISA® immunoassay kit for IL13 is designed for the quantitative determination of IL13 in porcine serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants using a homogeneous AlphaLISA assay (no wash steps). The assay shows minimal cross-reactivity with human IL13.
